KonaRed™ Coffee Cherry

Also known as the “coffee fruit,” the KonaRed Coffee Cherry has exploded on the health scene as an antioxidant-rich superfood. The antioxidants in coffee cherry are known to fight free radicals, resist sun damage, slow aging, boost energy and mood as well as enhance overall health. As part of a diet high in whole-food nutrients, such as those found in XOWii’s products, the coffee cherry can contribute to maintaining a healthy weight.

Yerba Mate

This herb, enjoyed through much of South America as a tea, appears to work on several fronts to combat weight gain. Yerba mate is a healthy stimulant that has been known to promote increased metabolism without inducing jitters, upset stomach or anxiety common to other stimulants. It also contains theobromine and xanthines, which help induce both healthy physical and mental “energy.” Yerba mate also contains 20 vitamins and minerals for complementary nutritional value.

Cha de Bugre

For centuries, cha de bugre has been a widely used tonic in native cultures in Brazil. This botanical is known to have appetite-suppressing and weight-control properties. Rather than cutting off appetite altogether, cha de bugre appears to give a sense of being satiated after eating only small amounts. This promotes smaller meals and less caloric intake, but still maintains metabolism for sustained calorie burning.

L-Carnitine

This amino acid is known to help regulate the burning of fat in the body. It does this by transporting fat to the cells, where it is metabolized (“burned”) by the mitochondria. Studies on carnitine suggest it can be of significant help in losing unwanted pounds.

L-Tyrosine

As a precursor to the endocrine and brain chemicals epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine, some research suggests this amino acid can help boost metabolism while promoting healthy mental energy and mood.
